These little guys are packed with smooth citrus flavor and a dark chocolate center. They’ve been a real hit with friends!
INGREDIENTS
DIRECTIONS
- Pre-heat oven to 350°
- In a medium bowl, use a wooden spoon to mix all the ingredients except the chocolate chips together in a bowl
- Spoon about 1/4 c of the batter onto a lined and greased cookie sheet
- Put a handful of chocolate chips in the center of each cookie
- Using a fork, pull up on the edges of the batter of each cookie to make the jaggedy "sunflower-style" to each cookie. There is no perfect science here, so get creative!
- Bake cookies for 12 minutes on center rack or until golden brown
BAKER'S TIPS
- Flavorless Coconut Oil is best so that the coconut flavor doesn't overpower your cookies, but I've also made 'em with regular coconut oil and the cookies still came out good.
- You can add as much orange extract as you'd like -- the more you add, the more tartness you'll get in your cookie
